Toyota has done a great job with Tacoma trucks to meet customer expectations. The 2008 Toyota Tacoma Trucks represents the second generation of the production line. The Tacoma models have a towing capacity of 3500 pounds, but the double cab can manage 6500 pounds with an enhanced tow package.

The engine helps in providing a car-like handling, smooth drive, and quick response. Fuel efficiency depends mostly on the combination of engine and transmission, but generally ranges from 17 - 20 mpg in the city and 22 - 25 on the highway with the four-cylinder engine, and 15 - 16 mpg in the city / 18 - 20 on open road with the V-6.
